Hello, July! 🌿
We’re stepping into a new month inspired by meaningful conversations and renewed purpose.
Over the weekend, our Team Lead, Kadiri-Lawal Zainab Abike, had the privilege of speaking at Recyklable’s Monthly Webinar.
It was an engaging session with young people, sustainability enthusiasts, and aspiring entrepreneurs, exploring how creativity can transform waste into opportunity and how the green economy is creating new pathways for innovation, impact, and livelihoods.
Out of 13,859 applications received nationwide, @zannytecture was honoured to be among the Top 3 finalists in the Creative Industry category at the 8th National MSME Awards.
Grateful to Almighty God, the organizers, and the amazing Team Zannytecture for making this possible.
We’re excited to share that our Team Lead, Kadiri-Lawal Zainab Abike, will be speaking at Recyklable’s June Monthly Webinar.
We look forward to engaging with changemakers, entrepreneurs, and sustainability enthusiasts.

Thank you to the organizers for providing a platform to inspire the next generation of green entrepreneurs. The conversations may have ended, but the opportunities within the green economy are only just beginning.

Last week, our Team Lead, Zainab Kadiri-Lawal, had the privilege of speaking at the Green Innovation & Entrepreneurship Incubation Programme held in commemoration of World Environment Day at the University of Lagos.
Speaking on “Turning Wood into Wealth: Business Prospects in the Furniture Sector,” she shared insights on how sustainability & entrepreneurship can work hand in hand to create economic opportunities, drive innovation, & build profitable ventures from resources often overlooked.
Through community engagement, we are driving awareness on responsible waste disposal & environmental consciousness where it matters most.
As June unfolds, we also move closer to World Environment Day; committed to advancing a more sustainable future.

Happy New Month, June 🌿
Last month, in partnership with @jcin_unilag, we brought sustainability to the heart through the “Clean The Community Project”.
At @zannytecture, we continue to champion one message; waste is not the end of value, it is the beginning of possibility.
April is a reminder to be more intentional; not just about what we create, but what we discard.
Stay with us as we explore new perspectives, simple actions, and better ways to live ♻️

We’ve normalised throwing things away… without ever questioning where “away” actually is.
The truth is, nothing really disappears. It only changes form; and sometimes, it becomes a problem we all have to deal with.
In the coming days, I’ll be sharing a series of thoughts

At (@zannytecture), we’re choosing a different path; one where materials don’t end, they evolve. Where waste isn’t the final stage, but the beginning of something new.
The real question is: “Are we ready to design differently?”

What if the problem was never waste… but how we design?
We live in a world where most things are created for convenience, not continuity. Used once, then discarded. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
From questioning what we call “waste” to understanding that the real problem isn’t waste itself but how we manage it, the session was filled with honest conversations, real-life examples, and practical shifts.

“Waste is not waste… you’ve just been looking at it wrong.” ♻️
Tonight, Kadiri-Lawal Zainab A., our Team Lead at Zannytecture Recycling Company, led the Rotaract E-Club of Ibadan Pacesetter WASH Training Fellowship, and we didn’t just talk about waste; we challenged mindsets.
As the month of reflection comes to a close, the values it taught us remain. 🌙
May the lessons stay with us, guiding our choices and actions toward a better, more sustainable world. ✨
