Then either each group presents or students rotate to those who are now experts.

Classes that actively involved students upped test scores in a Harvard class by 33%... but students thought they were learning more from non-active lectures.

The paradox; being challenged results in learning, but it also shows us how little we know, which makes us feel ignorant

@bobsloan79 @mrbartonmaths @NCETM Yes, using Building Thinking Classrooms’ principles my classroom has whiteboards all around. Each group of three is collaborating on a vertical space - excellent way to show the different approaches and learning.
