@liampmooney @OttawaCitizen Right on OpEd. I've observed how unsafe the downtown core has become, having spoken with several Bank Street business owners who are frustrated by how rising crime is impacting their businesses and the safety and security of shoppers and vendors alike.

@SnorlaxYawning I am in Ward 9, the ward Mr. Ben-Ami is running in. I sent him an email asking him to tell me about his position on LGBTQ+ rights and same-sex marriage. When I received no reply, I sent another email. No reply. I will not be voting for someone who does not represent my values.
As a Canadian, I stand for our freedom of speech, for our right to protest peacefully and respectfully. The only way to eradicate all forms of hate in our society is to not passively stand by when it happens. 🇨🇦
Their Excellencies attended an event to mark #InternationalInuitDay and the renaming of an Ottawa park in memory of the Inuit artist Annie Pootoogook.
This ceremony honoured her life and work, and was a celebration of Inuit culture.
