idk, being single is lowkey becoming a flex in this generation 😭 like you just sit back and watch everyone get cheated on, lied to, and traumatized and suddenly being alone doesn’t sound so bad.
You can’t build a legacy on someone else’s terms.
People will always have opinions on how you should spend your time and energy. Let them talk while you stay anchored in your purpose and responsibilities.
School is about to resume.
Fathers, stop allowing your wife or baby mama to bully you into paying school fees you cannot afford just because she wants the children in an expensive school.
Know your pocket and stand your ground.
Your children don’t need a school that will put their father in debt just to satisfy their mother’s ego or compete with other families. Even the Nigeria law won't force you to.
If you can afford ₦300k, don’t borrow ₦2m to look responsible.
Being a responsible father includes knowing what you can afford. ✌🏿
Dear ones, I hope you know that we Christians don’t really care if you denounce Jesus and worship something or someone else. We are use to people insulting us and saying trash about us.
But what is not right is associating Christianity to trash, low self esteem and suffering. Worship Lucifer if you must, we don’t care but don’t come online to ridicule Christianity in any public platform cos God cannot be mocked.
Also, don’t come here to tell us “that is not so Christian of you” you can’t flog a child and ask him not to cry. You can’t insult the entire Christian community and expect us to romance you and ignore your disrespect. You and I know that if this was another religion, you won’t live long to tell the story.
No disrespect to GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON (JESUS) and GOD THE SPIRIT will be tolerated. If you still talk anyhow for my cs you fit still chop insult today.
One thing I regret from my childhood is not learning to speak Hausa and Yoruba fluently.
I was born in Northern Nigeria and spent about seven years there, but I hardly had the opportunity to mingle with Hausa children. We lived in a private compound with only two families, and both were Igbo. It was basically home, school, and back home.
At school, we were also not allowed to speak local languages. Everything had to be in English.
Then my father was transferred to Lagos, where we spent about five years. I picked up a little Yoruba because there were Yoruba families and children around us, but I still wasn't allowed to mingle freely.
Looking back, I realize how much that shaped me. I became a very private person and found it difficult to mix freely with other children.
Eventually, we moved to Aba, Abia State.
Sometimes I think about it and wish I had grown up speaking Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, and English fluently. I would have loved to carry all four languages with me today.
Childhood experiences shape us in ways we don't always understand until we grow older. I can also make it shorter, more emotional, and more engaging for X if you want.
as a society, we don't question men's bodies enough. Like as a man, why are you fat? u don't menstruate u don't have hormonal issues, u don't have PCOS, u don't bear, carry and give birth to children. So, why are you fat? why are your breasts hanging? Why is your tummy big ??
