Protestors weren’t forced to walk onto a road. Cars usually win against people unless the state bends over backwards and closes the road.

@SASSANDLACE @wsferries I’ve looked before when there is a bridge opening for marine traffic and the cameras are blacked out. Probably has something to do with maintaining “secrecy” for submarines passing through despite the fact that everybody with a view of the water can see them coming and going.

@wsdot_tacoma Southbound SR 3 immediately before the 304 overpass, there is a small hole in the left side of the left lane. Big enough to make you jump when you hit it, small enough to forget about 30 seconds later. It’s somewhere near the dropped pin.
