Donald Trump slams Bishop Mariann Budde and demands an apology for her speech asking for grace with immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community:
“She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart…Apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one”
Today, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde boldly called out Donald Trump for his hatred and bigotry at the National Cathedral Prayer Service. Now, the GOP is attacking her for speaking truth to power.

MANUEL URGES INC MEMBERS TO RETHINK LEADERSHIP'S INFLUENCE ON POLITICAL CHOICES
Kabataan Partylist Rep. Raoul Manuel urged members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) to reflect on whether their sect's leadership should continue to influence their political choices amid the planned January 13 "peace rally" by the INC.
In an article published on Sunday, January 12, Manuel told the Inquirer that the political breakup between the President and the Vice President, along with the peace rally, should prompt INC followers to critically evaluate their leadership's role in deciding which government leaders to support.
He called on INC members to prioritize their individual conscience and moral discernment over institutional mandates.
"Actually, this is more of a call to action, and also a call to reflection for the members of the INC, in the hope that their individual decisions and their call of conscience will prevail based on what Jesus Christ really wants to teach [us]," he said.
Manuel also questioned the INC's concept of "peace," suggesting it could enable public officials to evade accountability.
"I think it comes from a fake notion of peace … especially when there are grounds for impeachment against the Vice President," he remarked, emphasizing that the welfare of the general public, not just specific groups, should guide governance.
"Everyone, INC or not, is affected by the services [and actions] of public officials," Manuel added.
