when I was still working at my first job, I got into an argument with a white man. he demanded to know how my name was spelled so he could report me. when I said “L for land”, he sighed and hung up 😭
@Sledge_Master01 @ribz_rb 😂😂😂😂we ask ourselves that question but it answers itself as we grow older its real witchcraft is science just we can only observe the result but have no tangible idea of its inner workings
@EswatiniGovern1@RussellMDlamini why not just bring in new and young blood people not known in these corridors people with no allegiances to no one we have plenty of bright legal minds in the country USE THEM!!!!!!!
You will never do what you love under capitalism. Your time, space & desire gets reduced to labour. You must slave labour most of your day in some isolated building with strangers to live. The very essence of being human - thinking, creating, loving, caring - is all undermined

My grandfather raised my father on a farm.
A farm where they worked for a farmer who ended up kicking them off the land.
He had cows he raised over the years that belonged to him.
But in the times of apartheid black people were not allowed to move with any cattle from one place to another.
This lead to a very poor family in a very poor time for people of color.
When I sit with my uncles they tell me stories of being shot in their stomachs stealing cows.
A practice even my father is very familiar with.
This next piece of art is dedicated to that side of my family affected by the South African Diaspora.
POVO.
A short film I did in Mozambique amongst some very talented people.
Dropping this week🕴🏾
