I remember watching Larry Bird night live on TV in Boston growing up. It was a tight 80 minutes. Baseball clubs retire numbers all of the time in Pre-game ceremonies. Takes ~30 minutes. This was just poor planning by everyone involved.

Left the @seattlestorm's tribute to @S10Bird at 5:20pm- 3 hours into the tribute, with no light at the end of the tunnel. (Sue was on "page 6" of 7 of her notes after over an hour.) Got home at 6:05pm & am legit not sure if it's over yet. #10forever

I don't begrudge the #SeattleStorm letting their event go on as long as they want + Sue deserves all the time she wants, but this was a horribly planned event & fans were not told that it might go on for 3+ hours. I left frustrated & disappointed. It was a shame.

Also, the superpower the premise is built on feels like an excuse to have the main character be a drifter instead of a P.I. or a cop. It diminishes her.

The show looks great, tho. Awesome production design. Fantastic direction. Fun music. I wish that it worked.

Finally got around to watching the first 4 episodes of #PokerFace. 1st episode was nice but they get worse as you go. So overrated.

Every ep is a study on characters we've never met before or care about. The crimes are stupid. The pacing is monotonous. @jowrotethis

And the tone is all out of whack. It's too heavy to be a cozy mystery, but too light to be a serious drama. The stakes are super low & Natasha Lyonne (who is awesome) is supposed to be the star of the show but ends up playing 2nd fiddle to the guests. Honestly, it's a mess.

@Lucas_Shaw I've been Team Binge since I discovered torrents back in the mid 00s. Also, downloading was a way of life while living overseas, so I would just wait until an entire season of a show was done then watch it all.

Disney: Digital sports rights are a mess. Carriage fees are declining. They'll need to devote tons of $ to keep it relevant. It's a drain for Iger.
