@hsdems Second, completely ignoring Gaza spits in the face of young people. Over 3,700 campus protests showed how deeply voters cared, yet this autopsy totally hid from how Biden and Harris’s handling of Gaza actively alienated and pushed a generation of young people away. 3/3
The DNC’s 2024 autopsy shows incompetence, not understanding. As Chair of @hsdems, it's frustrating to see the party overlook the exact voters we need to survive. To win back young voters, leadership needs to show courage and stop refusing to be honest about its faults. 1/3
@hsdems First, the report fails to admit that our reliance on corporate money pushes working-class people away. It is hard for regular people to believe the party will stand up for them when leadership takes checks from the corporations actively ruining their lives. 2/3
We can’t claim to fight for working people while giving cover to the very industries spending millions to defeat us. I told the DNC not to be afraid to name AI and crypto dark money.
It’s time to decide whose side we’re on.
Completely agreed. I authored this resolution, and I told the DNC on the floor not to be afraid to name names.
Stripping the names of the AI & crypto dark money groups pouring millions into our primaries was the coward's way out. We have to be honest about whose side we are on.
The DNC just passed a resolution condemning dark money. That’s a start, but not enough.
Billionaire-funded super PACs—AIPAC, AI, crypto & others—are spending hundreds of millions to defeat any candidate who crosses them.
They should be banned from Democratic primaries. Period.
I’m Milan van Dam, I’m 16 and the National Vice Chair of @hsdems.
We've been organizing across all 50 states to defeat MAGA and build a party that works for working people.
Will you join me in our fight? RT and follow to amplify our message.
TONIGHT, WE DID IT 🌊 A BLUE WAVE!
NJ held off MAGA, VA elected its 1st female gov, GA flipped blue, CA fights Trump’s gerrymandering, & Zohran Mamdani is NYC’s next mayor.
Progressive politics is alive, hope is stronger than ever, & our generation is defining the future 💙
Young people need hope
Our party lost the youth in 2024 because we forget how to give youth hope for a better future. Us young people are tired and frustrated with the system, we need the party to give us a vision for a better future without it the party won't survive.
We can win back the young voters we have lost. The actual question is if the establishment is willing to accept what those young people will actually vote for. When someone like Zohran gets nearly 2x the 18-24 turnout in a primary compared to what VP Harris got in the general and we see how Zohran has been treated it makes me think we don’t actually want young voters. We want young sycophants who are fine with the status quo.
Trump hoping for the Noble Peace Prize is absolute stupidity- he might be able to broker a peace in Israel and Gaza but at home he has caused nothing but spark turmoil and violence at home
If Trump wants an award he should start by preaching peace and love at home
After two years I’m grateful to see a return of the Israeli & Palestinian hostages.
But let us not forget how American taxpayer dollars were used to bomb innocent civilians. That is an injustice we as a nation must see never occur again.
Kicking off today’s downballot candidate 🧵 with @ZohranKMamdani.
He's running to make NYC more affordable for everyone and has captured the nation's attention with his incredible campaign.
Go vote for Zohran this November!
The Trump Admin’s callous disregard for the freedom of speech is continuing to hurt our nation. The students of today are the generation that will inherit our democracy, and we refuse to let it be eroded by cowardice and complicity.
FIRE the UC President.
The Univ. of California handed 160 students/faculty to Trump — betraying the 1st Amendment + academic freedom. We demand UC Regents replace him with a leader who defends free speech. #ProtectAcademicFreedom

Gun violence can occur anywhere at any time and no one is immune. Not our classmates, not our teachers, not political figures.
All forms of political violence must be condemned, and real gun reform is necessary. Now.
There has been 98 school shootings this school year.
It's only September.
Two Students were shot today at the Evergreen High School near Denver Colorado. Gun Violence should have no place in our country, this isn't an inevitability it's a tragedy we must end.
Political Violence has no place in this country, Charlie Kirk is Dead-
Guns kill people, regardless of their politics this shouldn't be a partisan issue.
I give my thoughts and prayers to his family and I pray for an end to gun violence for all of us.
