There's a way to become impossible to manipulate, and it isn't trusting no one.
It's learning the names of the tricks. Once a move has a name, you see it coming.
Deepstash: one idea about how people think, 20 seconds each. 📲
🤔 When a student is confused, there’s usually a reason.
@Kris_Boulton explains how students can interpret what we teach differently than we intend based on their prior knowledge, and why we need to think more carefully about how we explain things.

Here's just a regular content knowledge portion of a DI reading lesson. DI reading teaches content knowledge. The difference is other programs are bad at doing it. They have zero theory of instruction, and have too high a tolerance for exposure. So kids don't learn it.

Scientific research shows that conservative thinking people are less intelligent than leftists. Psychological research shows that conservatives also lack emotional intelligence, and it's their lack of empathy and compassion that consistently have negative effect on humanity.
Attention Young Men:
I am surrounded by 20 year old girls in my life that are smart, capable, hard working and cute. Nobody is dating them. Not sure what the deal is, but I don’t get it.
Step 1: Stop playing video games
Step 2: Head to great clips and get that lettuce cleaned up
Step 3: Hit a shower (when dating hygiene is critical)
Step 4: Go clean your car
Step 5: Sign up for a yoga class
Step 6: Go to the yoga class
Step 7: Ask a cute for her phone number at yoga class (yes you can meet girls IRL and not just on the apps - 10/10 the Dirt Dog highly recommends)
Step 8: Follow up within 2 days with a phone call and ask them out for this coming weekend Friday or Saturday night.
Step 9: IMPORTANT - come up with a good game plane for date night. Get a dinner reservation, get an activity planned. Let them know in advance what you are doing so they can dress appropriately. I know you are gunna roll off the couch and head to date night, but they are not. They are going to stress about what to wear and call at least 6 different people on FaceTime to ask their opinion.
Step 10: I highly recommend you bring flowers to the door step. I’m not covering that you go to the doorstep, because if you don’t do that you have no hope here. Women want men to date them. You don’t need to break the bank on flowers. Head to Trader Joe’s. Grab 2 different kinds of flowers. If you don’t know what matches find the closest looking lady to your mom at TJ’s and ask her. Wrap the 2 flowers into 1 bouquet with paper. Bonus Points you can cut open a TJ bag and use that as the paper.
Step 11: Be a gentleman on the date. She isn’t there to hear your life story. Ask her about her. For every 1 question you answer, ask her 3. Open Doors, pay for the meal, be polite.
Provided you follow most of this guideline you are highly likely to get yourself an opportunity for date number 2.
Keep going until you find someone that you can’t imagine not being around all the time. That’s when you have found a good one for you.
My life is complete with my wife as my companion. I wish you the same fortune in life. Happy Hunting.
University debate: "Carbs are the body's preferred fuel. Ketosis is the emergency generator."
Dietician: "Give the body carbohydrate and fat together and it burns the carbohydrate first. That's what preferred means."
Anthropologist: "And if I add a whisky?"
Dietician: "It burns the alcohol before anything."
Anthropologist: "So whisky is the body's preferred fuel."
Dietician: "Obviously not. Alcohol goes first because the body can't store it and can't leave it lying around."
Anthropologist: "Good. Hold on to that. How much carbohydrate can you store?"
Dietician: "About 500 grams. Liver and muscle."
Anthropologist: "2,000 calories. One day. And fat?"
Dietician: "It varies."
Anthropologist: "A lean person carries 80,000. Two months. So the body burns first whatever it has least room for. You've just explained that to me using whisky, and then called it a preference when it's bread."
Dietician: "The brain needs glucose. 130 grams a day."
Anthropologist: "On your diet. Offer it ketones and it takes up to two thirds of its energy from them, and the liver makes what's left. How much glucose is in your whole bloodstream at this moment?"
Dietician: "Around 5 grams."
Anthropologist: "A teaspoon. Much more than that damages blood vessels, so the body drops everything to clear it. I've seen bouncers treat people that way. I wouldn't call them preferred."
Dietician: "Ketosis only appears when you're starving. That is an emergency."
Anthropologist: "It appears within a day of the carbohydrate running out, fed or not. Where was the starch in northern Europe in January, for half a million years? You've filed every winter our species ever had under emergency."
Dietician: "Nobody is in ketosis as a normal state."
Anthropologist: "Every newborn is. Within days of birth, on breast milk, with half its calories from fat. The fastest brain growth in nature runs on your back-up system."
Dietician: "Then why do people feel dreadful when they cut carbs?"
Anthropologist: "For about a week. Take a leg out of plaster after forty years and it won't feel marvellous on the stairs either."
Moderator: "Closing statements."
Anthropologist: "The mains runs out by tomorrow lunchtime. The generator has two months in the tank and was switched on at birth. I'd ask which one the house was built around."
Having a construction background I find these to be so cool. I love just thinking about the engineering that goes into some of these hidden passageways. I would love to have hidden doors and stairways in my house. Not that they're really necessary, but they are just fun. 💯🔥😎
I am ONCE AGAIN reminding you all:
Jeff Nippard has already disproven this nonsense
In the video attached…he shows how you can eat healthy for LESS THAN $10 A DAY!!!
Did you know there's a type of anxiety specific to autism that isn't explained by any other existing anxiety disorder currently outlined in the DSM... and that it's often misdiagnosed as clinical anxiety?
Most people who fail on carnivore were never short of meat. They were short of fat, and the fix takes about a week.
Your liver can only process so much protein, roughly a third of your calories. With carbs gone, the other two thirds has to be fat. There is no third option.
Lean meat alone leaves you hungry, cold, tired and dreaming about bread. That's a fuel shortage, and it gets blamed on the diet.
Aim for at least a gram of fat for every gram of protein. Most people feel best at one and a half.
No cut gets there unaided, so add it:
- Butter on every steak, a thick slice, while it rests
- Tallow or dripping stirred through mince
- Double cream in the pan juices
- Egg yolks, runny, as a sauce
- Bone marrow, roasted, eaten with a spoon
- Suet, rendered, for cooking everything else
- The fat cap, eaten, never trimmed
You'll know it's working when you finish a meal and the idea of food simply leaves your head for six hours.
If you're hungry two hours after eating, you didn't need more meat. You needed more butter.
