After the conclusion of 2022 General Elections Baba and his Azimio brigades went to the streets on demands for inclusion in Government ; “they” conceded . A national dialogue committee NADCO was formed and held the national dialogue sessions live on camera where Kenyans presented their opinions and suggestions .

Baba backed down; relaxed and waited , it’s now over a year; the report was neither Debated nor adopted in parliament ,it’s gathering dust in the shelves .( no wonder we are yet to constitute IEBC)

Then came Gen Zs in the struggle they aroused a national economic concern amidst protests. “They” again conceded and are planning to form a new Multisectoral committee. Allow me to call it NADCO 2.
I can attest to this ;
Any committee reports which requires action of Kenyan parliament are as a dead as a dodo !
What happened to the report of Fake fertilizer? From my experience I can conclusively say that
Parliament is heavily patronized, desecrated , defiled and lost credibility of majority of Kenyans.What do expect from a parliament which sneaks an agenda without going through the House business committee as per the standing order?

Multisectoral committee will be another theatric to buy time and scatter the already compounding voice of the disappointed youth of Kenya . It’s my opinion that this will be another round of pounding water in a pot . No matter what energy is inputted, no Ugali can come out of it .

To the Gen Zs , this is your constitutional moment , those of us before you do agree ,we were deceived, subdued and lost it ;a reason why Systems aren’t functioning right now in your favour, no wonder you are up and about greeting us in your absurd styles. My advice is ,Seize it and press for change .We are looking up to you from a far .

I join the international community in condemning the attack on Israel by Iran at a time when all our energies ought to be directed at ending the war in Gaza.

The co-ordinated united diplomatic response by the Group of Seven is commendable, as is the assurance by President Joe Biden that the US will not take part in any counter-offensive against Iran. This swift action has prevented a worse catastrophe.

We all must now prioritise restraint and allow the United Nations to take complete charge and defuse and de-escalate the crisis.

Neither the Middle East nor the world can afford an all out war at this time. The Middle East cannot go to war with itself so soon after Easter and Ramadhan celebrations.

NEVER TOO LATE TO TAKE A TURN: Rehabilitation works.

At the age of 10, she took her first puff of cigar. It was from her dad. That became the genesis of a three-decade struggle with smoking and alcoholism, a near-fatal life journey that saw a once celebrated Miss Kenya runner-up rot in a jhuggi after "jumpstarting" her organs with sips of jet fuel and poisoning herself twice.

Her history is that of a multi-faceted damsel, an ambitious girl who got all her priorities wrong. It is the history of a lifeist, club-hopper, job-hopper, opportunist and one with a YOLO mentality...but not "forever and for always".

Recounting the dark past and the heartwarming message of hope that gave her another lease of life is Ms Ann Mathu, the current NACADA Vice Chairperson.

As the 5.8ft plus makes her way to the DCI reception, heads turn in admiration of the renowned voice that champions for the rehabilitation of willing alcoholics and drug addicts.

'The DCI' conducted an interview with Ann Mathu who recently celebrated 18 years of uninterrupted sobriety, and compiled her soul-stirring story of hope for addicts and victims of substance abuse disorder.

It was a joy being part of the Prize giving ceremony at the Mahadakini Secondary School in Chala, Taveta constituency this afternoon. Together with area MP John Okano Bwire and Wundanyi MP Danson Mwashako as well as County Speakers of Makueni and Kitui, Douglas Mbilu and Kevin Kinengo Katisya respectively, we laughed and learned from these gifted students. They also reminded me of French poet Anatole France's words: "Nine-tenths of education is encouragement." We will always endeavour to encourage our children in all ways.

The Azimio petition gives the SCOK the opportunity to rescue the country from going to the dogs and end electoral fraud permanently. Contrary to this, will be to entrench electoral fraud in Kenya permanently. The choice is for the seven SCOK judges to safe or spoil the country.

During the operation over 400 sim cards, 8 national ID cards, 2 laptops & 4 mobile phones were recovered from them. The trio will be charged accordingly once further Investigations are completed.
