🚨 STATEMENT

The future is uncertain, but NOIR will continue.

Today, we made the difficult decision to part ways with our current roster following several issues that have come to represent everything damaging the competitive Clubs scene: money, ego and unrealistic expectations.

Becoming LAN champions appears to have created the assumption that NOIR suddenly has unlimited money available for wages. That could not be further from reality.

Of the $4,000 team prize:

• $3,000 was split equally between the players

• The remaining $1,000 went toward covering costs from the previous VPG season, in salaries and incentives

The financial demands being placed on organisations are becoming unsustainable. Clubs should be about building projects, competing with friends and creating something meaningful together. It should not simply be about chasing the highest offer or attempting to buy success.

Ahead of EA SPORTS FC 27, we intend to work with @OfficialVPG and push for stronger financial restrictions that protect teams, organisations and the long term health of the scene.

For the upcoming season, we are currently looking for an established team capable of representing NOIR in the @VPGPremier and @VPGUK

Should we not find the right project, we will explore allowing another team to buy out or take over our league position.

It is incredibly disappointing to be in this position less than two weeks after winning the biggest event in VPG.
