Brazil: For the first time ever, a Brazilian husband and wife were sentenced to prison for the “crime” of homeschooling their daughters.

The judge held that the children needed more diversity, gender and sex education.

Keep in mind, the mother holds degrees in mathematics and pedagogy and the children perform well.

The sentence is suspended, pending appeal.

HOLY ROSARY PROMISES (AS HANDDED DOWN IN CATHOLIC TRADITION)

The Holy Rosary is not just a prayer.

It is a meditation on the life of Jesus Christ through the eyes of His Blessed Mother.

For centuries, Catholic tradition, especially through the Dominican tradition and the preaching associated with St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche, has handed down certain “promises” connected to faithful devotion to the Rosary.

These are not new revelations or dogmas of the Church, but traditional spiritual encouragements that reflect what the Rosary does in the soul when prayed with faith, humility, and perseverance.

When I reflect on them, I do not see magic formulas.

I see a pattern of grace.

A pattern of conversion.

A pattern of salvation.

THE TRADITIONAL PROMISES OF THE HOLY ROSARY

Here are the commonly known 15 promises associated with the Rosary in Catholic tradition:

1. Perseverance in Faith
Those who faithfully pray the Rosary will receive special graces to remain strong in faith.

2. Growth in Virtue
The Rosary gradually transforms the heart, leading to a deeper life of virtue.

3. Protection from error and heresy
A soul devoted to the Rosary is guided away from false teachings and confusion.

4. Stronger love for Christ
Through meditation on His life, the heart grows in love for Jesus.

5. Confidence in prayer
The Rosary strengthens trust in God’s mercy and providence.

6. Freedom from sin
Frequent Rosary prayer weakens the hold of habitual sin over time.

7. Spiritual consolation in trials
Those who suffer while praying the Rosary are not abandoned by grace.

8. Visible growth in holiness
A steady devotion to the Rosary produces real spiritual change in the soul.

9. A deeper understanding of Christ’s mysteries
The life of Jesus becomes clearer through Marian contemplation.

WHAT THE CHURCH ACTUALLY TEACHES

It is important to understand this clearly:

Rather, they belong to approved devotional tradition, encouraged by saints and spiritual writers as expressions of the spiritual fruits of the Rosary.

What the Church does definitively teach is this:

The Rosary is a Christ-centered prayer (CCC 971)
It leads us to meditate on the mysteries of Christ’s life
It is strongly recommended by the saints and the Magisterium
It is a powerful aid in prayer and contemplation

THE DEEPER TRUTH BEHIND THESE PROMISES

When I look at these promises, I do not focus on them as external rewards.

I see them as descriptions of transformation.

Because anyone who truly prays the Rosary consistently will notice something over time:

The mind becomes calmer.

The heart becomes more disciplined.

The life of Christ becomes more present.

The voice of Mary becomes more familiar.

And the soul becomes more anchored in eternity.

The Rosary does not change God.

It changes us.

24 June 1942 | Janina Nowak escaped from the Kommando consisting of 200 Polish women working near the Soła river drying hay. After she was reported missing, the SS men started the pursuit, which was, however, unsuccessful. Other female prisoners from the Kommando were led back to the camp. Late in the evening, they had their hair cut up to that point, as non-Jewish prisoners, they did not have to have their heads shaved.

On the next day, the entire Kommando was transformed into a penal company and sent to the SS farm called Budy, at the distance of about 6 km from the main camp. They were accommodated in a former school building and a wooden barracks, which together with a small kitchen and latrines were surrounded by barbed wire fencing. The women had to work in extremely harsh conditions cleaning nearby ponds, cutting bulrush, and digging drainage ditches. After a few days, the camp authorities sent another 200 female prisoners to the penal company-Slovakian and French Jews together with several German women to work as Kapos.

After escaping Auschwitz, Janina Nowak managed to reach Łódz. She evaded the authorities until March 1943 when she was arrested. On 8 May 1943, Nowak was brought to Auschwitz once again, where she received a new prisoner number – 31592. In 1943, she was transferred to KL Ravensbrück where she was liberated at the end of April 1945.

FENBENDAZOL e CÂNCER

O estudo intitulado “Fenbendazol como agente anticancerígeno: análise de casos de autoadministração” explora a hipótese de que o fenbendazol, um antiparasitário amplamente utilizado na medicina veterinária, possa ter efeitos contra o câncer.

Evidências experimentais anteriores, principalmente em modelos laboratoriais, já indicavam que a substância poderia interferir em processos importantes das células tumorais, como divisão celular e metabolismo.
Esses dados iniciais levantaram o interesse sobre um possível uso do fármaco na oncologia.

Partindo dessa hipótese, os autores descreveram três casos de pacientes com câncer avançado (mama, próstata e melanoma) que optaram por utilizar fenbendazol por iniciativa própria.
O medicamento foi incluído em seus protocolos terapêuticos sem a utilização de quimioterapia convencional.

Nos relatos apresentados, dois dos pacientes atingiram remissão completa da doença, enquanto o terceiro apresentou uma resposta quase completa após o início do uso do fármaco.
Além disso, não foram observados efeitos colaterais relevantes durante o período de acompanhamento, sugerindo boa tolerabilidade.

No entanto, os próprios pesquisadores destacam limitações importantes.
O número de casos ainda é reduzido, o que impede qualquer conclusão definitiva sobre causa e efeito entre o uso do fenbendazol e a regressão dos tumores.

Dessa forma, o estudo conclui que, apesar dos resultados serem considerados interessantes, eles ainda são insuficientes para validar o uso clínico do medicamento. Ensaios clínicos maiores e controlados são necessários para determinar com segurança sua eficácia e possíveis riscos no tratamento do câncer.
