Mr Zbit

#microbit enthusiast - I enjoy writing micro:bit articles, running micro:bit workshops and donating zbit:connect boards for interesting micro:bit projects!

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

@tanurai Hi @tanurai how about Speech Recognition on a #microbit - see @micro_mag Issue 3 - and this video of zbit:bot doing what it's told...most of the time! https://t.co/eYHSHJUtGD @microbit_edu

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

@tanurai Hi @tanurai have you seen this zbit:flyer video by @stestagg showing just what a #microbit can do !? @microbit_edu https://t.co/3DktuyWd4H

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

Would anyone else like to see some programs on mainstream @BBC TV for all the young people interested in coding? Maybe @FryRsquared could do " maths with the #microbit " Any other suggestions? @microbit_edu @BBCMIDigital @BBCLearning @BBCClick

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

I remember Jonny Austin doing an amazing demo of s/w he had written that turned the #microbit LED display into a touch screen - Did anything come of that? If so, we could 'squiggle' with our finger! @whaleygeek @scottturneruon @uk_baz @microbit_edu

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

My idea of a 'squiggle' was to draw a number on 1st #microbit and get the #AI #neuralnetwork to work out which number and to see what appears on the 'hidden' layer microbits. e.g. Graphic shows '2' starting in WhaleySans Font @whaleygeek @scottturneruon @uk_baz @microbit_edu

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

Thanks @whaleygeek @scottturneruon @uk_baz - I'd watched this fantastic 'Match Box' #AI demo on @BBC #RICL Xmas Lecture with @FryRsquared and seen #microbit #neuralnetwork articles by Dr Scott & HWhittaker @technicacorp and wondered if the microbit could show 'hidden' AI layers

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

Does anyone know someone who could code a simple #microbit #neuralnetwork Inference Engine using multiple micro:bits connected by radio to help teach #AI? e.g. to recognise digits 0-9 from a 'sqiggle' on the first micro:bit @microbit_edu @whaleygeek @scottturneruon @technicacorp

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

Ever wondered how and why the @BBC developed the #microbit ? Then listen to this facinating #CASchat Live with Howard Baker @ntoll & @whaleygeek - See "Mr Zbit's useful #microbit links" https://t.co/MzejPwQYOV @microbit_edu @BBCMIDigital @BBCLearning @aitchbaker @mrsclaessens

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

@WBerksLibraries Which @WBerksLibraries have #microbit packs?

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

...I've just read the article by Zayd Nashed about Z-bot in @micro_mag issue 6! Great Work!!! All the best from Mr Zbit! @Razan_Nas @EyadNashed @fisschsa #microbit @microbit_edu @biglesp @raspikidd @all_about_code @whaleygeek #BBCmicrobit

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

@whaleygeek @micro_mag @microbit_edu @biglesp @RaspiKidd @all_about_code @Vlastimil_Hovan I am looking forward to reading the whole @micro_mag magazine this weekend! There is nothing quite like reading a printed copy!!! #microbit

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

...I've just received my printed copy of @micro_mag issue 6! Thanks! micro:mag is the unofficial magazine for the #microbit created by the community! @microbit_edu @biglesp @raspikidd @all_about_code @whaleygeek #BBCmicrobit

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

Have a go at playing games from the original 1980's @BBC Micro this Xmas! Click on this link on "Mr Zbit's useful #microbit links" web page https://t.co/MzejPwQYOV @acornproton @microbit_edu @BBCMIDigital @BBCLearning @Raspberry_Pi #bbcmicro #retrogaming #BBCmicrobit #raspberrypi

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

Hi Yolanta @YKrawiecki there's a link on my "Mr Zbit's useful #microbit links" web page about collecting #microbit sensor data into an Excel Spreadsheet. Is that what you were looking for? https://t.co/MzejPwQYOV @microbit_edu

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

Have you ever opened a #microbit HEX file and wondered what all the numbers and letters mean? Then click on the Giggletronics Blog article on "Mr Zbit's useful #microbit links" https://t.co/MzejPwQYOV @microbit_edu @whaleygeek #BBCmicrobit

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

Did you know you can still watch the @BBC Computer Literacy Programs from the 1980's based around the original BBC Micro! See "Mr Zbit's useful #microbit links" https://t.co/MzejPwQYOV @microbit_edu @BBCMIDigital @BBCLearning @Raspberry_Pi #BBCmicrobit #raspberrypi

TMP36 Temperature Sensor used by @robertpstephen @codeclubscot @SkeneSquare and other similar 3 pin sensors can connect to the #microbit by pluging into zbit:toolbelt in one of these 3 places - see Worksheet Example T2 https://t.co/nKCLFFgiOf @microbit_edu

[Mr Zbit @ZbitConnect]

@micro_mag for the #microbit is now available in print! There is nothing quite like browsing through a printed copy! Issue 6 has an article by @biglesp on building a Robot. @microbit_edu
