@EGYPTAIR your Restricted Items page says power banks are limited to "100 watts". It should be 100 watt-hours (Wh).
Wh is stored energy the actual limit. Watts are output speed, not restricted.
My £120 power bank is 99.75Wh. It was confiscated because "300W" is on the case.
Please correct it, brief ground staff, and advise how to claim my device your wording cost me.
I have a photo of it alongside my passport and my boarding pass.
@EGYPTAIR Your own page links to IATA's guidance, which sets the limit at 100 watt-hours. The FAA says the same.
IATA's 2026 passenger guidance also says the Wh rating must be marked on the case, and staff should check it there — not the output number.

By the end of 2024, you’ll likely never need these APIs again:
• useMemo, useCallback, memo → React Compiler
• forwardRef → ref is a prop
• React.lazy → RSC, promise-as-child
• useContext → use(Context)
• throw promise → use(promise)
• <Context.Provider> → <Context>
The deliberate murder of Hind, her family and the medical team who arrived for her rescue — along with the tens of thousands of innocent people Israel has killed — is an offence to our humanity. It is a curse not only on her killers, but on everyone who has stayed silent or failed to call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, and on @KarimKhanQC@IntlCrimCourt for still not issuing #arrestwarrants for war criminals
It is with a broken heart I share this video. But the world must know.. Governments must know what they are supporting, diplomatically and materially. This is happening every minute of every day in #Gaza. It is the mass murder of children. It is the industrial scale murder of a people.
