Appropriation: to take exclusive possession of without permission (in cultural context, to take without acknowledgement)

I have to say, @SpiritAirlines has the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will never use them again! They made me miss my flight (and subsequent meeting) due to their incompetence.
