Rare to see this kind of accountability and transparency. I’ll never fault the move and fully believe in this organization to do what needs to get done to get to the finals
I'm really sorry to all our fans. I own taking this risk. Surprised it came up 5th after this year. I thought we were due some luck. But please remember - this team deserved a starting center to compete with the best teams next year. We have always been resilient.
Love it. There’s a hole in my heart watching these playoffs knowing the Cers would be right back on track to see OKC. All eyes are on you Mr. Silver. Do what’s right
Love watching 6’6 2026 Samu Adler blossom into a legit professional talent in Finland
@samuadler
Samu is currently averaging 14.2 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 2.0 APG playing in Finland’s top league
A league comprised with some high level D1 players and many finish players. So far he’s been outscoring guys like Joe Toussaint, Kruz Perott-hunt who produced at the D1 level
Don’t see that for most 17 year olds playing in Europe, let alone from a prospect with zero D1 offers
High major level talent, should be closely monitored in the 2026 cycle.
NEWS: Kansas transfer Samis Calderon has committed to Butler, agent Aylton Tesch tells DraftExpress.
The 6'8, 21-year-old Brazilian played sparingly as a freshman but drew significant high-major interest thanks to his physical tools, 7'2 wingspan and defensive versatility.
North Dakota State forward Treyson Anderson has signed with Butler, @PeteNakos reports.
Averaged 10.4 points and 5.3 rebounds this season.

Furman assistant Kotie Kimble is joining Ron Nored’s staff at Butler, sources told CBS Sports. Good add for Nored in his first year running the Bulldogs. Kimble was also previously at Miami and on the staff that got the Hurricanes to the Final Four in 2023.
Herly Brutus tells ESPN he has committed to Butler. The SC Next 4-star recruit had previously committed to LSU. Brutus can contribute with versatility and length on both ends. A terrific pickup for new HC Ronald Nored. https://t.co/EYXO6DbDT0
Spoke to Butler center Drayton Jones about his decision to return:
"I just wanted to come back because I had unfinished business. I wanted to make sure I did everything I could to bring Butler back to where it should be, which is in the (NCAA) Tournament."
If you are wanting more final four talk and to get an in depth look at each team, take a listen to my guy J Flem break it down and more! @j_buch18

Butler’s Ronald Nored is hiring Jalen Courtney-Williams as an assistant coach, sources told ESPN. Courtney-Williams was on staff at LSU the last two seasons and spent three seasons under Greg McDermott at Creighton before the Baton Rouge move.
Ron Nored was a candidate at Iowa last cycle and has interviewed for a handful of high-majors over the last 4-5 years.
No question being tied to the Butler family made him a stronger candidate there, but pretty low to write something like that without the facts.
Welcome home, Ron. A guy that changed Butler and made me believe in something much bigger than myself at such a young age. There is a lot of opinions and chatter on this platform but I hope we choose to buy in with everything we got for a guy that is going to do the same for us.
Bulldog Nation,
Another Selection Sunday will pass without Butler’s name called. The frustration—and the passion for this program—has never been more clear. Let’s show our strength as a community and spark a big offseason for this summer as we head into the Portal.
