Wordpress itself is just PHP code you can upload to any web server that supports it as a starting point.

A WP dev would typically use it in this fashion.

@millersWebDev @ankurito19 @ThePracticalDev FYI Wordpress is a platform. You can treat it like a framework and write code to extend and customize pretty much anything about it. You can even just use it as a backend to power your FE with any framework of choice. The comparison in this post really doesn’t make much sense.
