They are, but different departments different protocols. Around here the dogs are used in positions that officers may be at higher risk to perform so they are the first to clear buildings room by room if possible with human backup. For physical risk the dog is used instead of an officer charging an individual. There is a recent example in San Diego of sending a dog in when a man was swinging a club around and he hit the dog but the dog brought him down to the ground. Only reason I can think of not sending the dog in here is to not send a dog into a friendly fire situation

@MehielSanctoria @WallStreetMav That's not true, you send the K-9 in when you want to protect an officers life and it's the lower risk option. Whenever a house gets cleared for a criminal, the dog is the first one in and the officers follow after the dog marks it as clear. The dog is there to protect human life

@WallStreetMav I went to a shabu shabu place and had Miyazaki wagyu beef and I ate that near raw since I didn't want to add too much flavor or over cook it. It was still cold when I took it out of the pot. I don't see how people like their meat overcooked

@yknngsnom There's always some kind of meat. About half the time for me it's beef and we do either a tri tip, ground beef, or smoked brisket. The smoked brisket lasts a while and we give away a lot to friends every time we make it
