for illiquid rwa the computation doesnt need to happen mid term at all

fixed rate fixed term credit with settlement at maturity means youre either paid back or you aren't

price context matters at the origination (what LTV to accept) and at resolution (what the collateral recovers to)

not in between, so its not oracle vs no oracle

they're 2 completely different risks rngines & one of them doesnt need a price feed running 24/7 to function

looked at tvl growth across the top 9 lending protocols over the last 90 days

the fastest growing one by a wide margin is fixed rate credit (around +33%)

while several of the biggest variable rate pools are actually shrinking, some by over 10%

when you can underwrite a rate instead of watching it reset every block, capital moves way faster
