دعوے تو سبھی کرتے ہیں لیکن عملی طور پر غریب کو اپنے پاؤں پر کھڑا کرنا وزیرعلیٰ مریم نواز شریف صاحبہ کا ہی خاصہ ہے۔ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کی 'اپنا کھیت، اپنا روزگار' اسکیم دراصل نادار خاندانوں کو بیساکھیوں کے بجائے عزتِ نفس کے ساتھ مستقل روزگار دینے کا ایک بڑا اور انقلابی پروگرام ہے۔اس منصوبے کے تحت 30 ہزار بے زمین گھرانوں کو لاکھوں ایکڑ سرکاری اراضی 20 سال کے لیے انتہائی معمولی اور علامتی سالانہ لیز پر دی جا رہی ہے، جس میں خواتین کا حصہ بھی خصوصی طور پر شامل کیا گیا ہے۔

الحمدللہ پنجاب کے دیہاتوں کو جدید اور پختہ راستوں سے منسلک کرنے کا وژن اب حقیقت کا روپ دھار چکا ہے۔ 79 ارب روپے کی لاگت سے ریکارڈ 75 دنوں میں 1567 سڑکوں کے مقررہ ہدف میں سے 1129 رابطہ سڑکیں مکمل کر لی گئی ہیں۔ 40 ارب روپے کی لاگت سے جاری اس منصوبے میں کڑی نگرانی سے قوم کے 11 ارب روپے بچائے گئے۔ انشاءاللہ بنیادی ڈھانچے کی یہ پائیدار تبدیلی دیہی معیشت کو نئی زندگی دے گی اور آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے ترقی کے نئے افق روشن کرے گی۔پنجاب کے تمام شہروں اور دیہات میں پہلی بار ترقی کے یکساں موقع فراہم کیے جا رہے ہیں۔

اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل سے پنجاب کی تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا غریب پرور زرعی منصوبہ " اپنا کھیت اپنا روزگار" کامیابی سے ہمکنار ہو گیا ہے۔ پنجاب کی1 لاکھ 21 ہزار ایکڑ قابلِ کاشت سرکاری اراضی 30000 نادار خاندانوں کو محض 100 روپے سالانہ کی علامتی لیز پر 20 سال کے لیے تفویض کر دی گئی ہے۔ سو فیصد میرٹ پر کمپیوٹرائزڈ بیلٹنگ کے ذریعے ضرورت مند طبقے کو نہ صرف اراضی کا مالکانہ اختیار دیا گیا ہے بلکہ زمین کی تیاری کے لیے 50 ہزار روپے فی ایکڑ مالی امداد اور جدید فنی معاونت بھی فراہم کی جا رہی ہے۔ تھل سے پوٹھوہار تک پھیلی اس سکیم میں 20 فیصد کوٹہ خواتین کا رکھا گیا ہے تاکہ ہماری مائیں اور بہنیں بھی معاشی طور پر بااختیار بن سکیں۔ انشاءاللہ اب محنت بھی کسان کی ہوگی اور پورا منافع بھی اسی کا ہوگا، عزتِ نفس کے ساتھ۔

جنوبی پنجاب کے زراعتی اور تجارتی منظرنامے میں ریڑھ کی ہڈی کی حیثیت رکھنے والی ملتان وہاڑی شاہراہ کے ساڑھے 93 کلومیٹر طویل حصے کو دو رویہ کرنے کا یہ معرکہ 14 ماہ کی ریکارڈ مدت میں مکمل کر لیا گیا ہے۔ طویل سفری صعوبتوں اور حادثات کا مستقل ازالہ کرتی یہ وسیع گزرگاہ اب علاقائی معیشت کو نئی جلا بخشنے، زرعی اجناس کی مارکیٹوں تک ترسیل کو تیز کرنے اور عوامی زندگی میں پائیدار آسانیاں لانے کے لیے تیار ہے۔

صنعتی اور تجارتی روابط کو نئی وسعت دینے کے لیے فیصل آباد چنیوٹ شاہراہ کی دونوں سمتوں پر محیط 24 کلومیٹر طویل تعمیرِ نو کا منصوبہ 10 ماہ کی ریکارڈ مدت میں پایۂ تکمیل کو پہنچ چکا ہے۔ دو بڑے شہروں کی مسافتوں کو سمیٹتی یہ جدید گزرگاہ نہ صرف عوام کے لیے محفوظ اور پرسکون سفر کی ضامن بنے گی بلکہ خطے کی معاشی ترقی کو تیز تر کرتے ہوئے خوشحالی کے نئے دور کا آغاز ثابت ہوگی۔

پنجاب ڈویلپمنٹ پروگرام کے تحت 204 ارب روپے کی لاگت سے فیز ون اور فیز ٹو پر تیزی سے عمل جاری ہے۔ 51 شہروں میں مجموعی طور پر 26,100 کے منصوبوں پر پیشرفت جاری ہے۔ سرگودھا، ڈی جی خان، گجرات، اوکاڑہ، جھنگ، ملتان اور سیالکوٹ میں فیز ون کے تحت 57 فیصد سے زائد کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے جبکہ جہلم، حافظ آباد، ساہیوال، فیصل آباد، گوجرانوالہ، شیخوپورہ، ننکانہ اور راولپنڈی میں فیز ٹو میں بھی 57 فیصد سے زائد پیشرفت رپورٹ ہوئی ہے۔ لاہور سمیت 41 شہروں میں انفراسٹرکچر اپ گریڈیشن جاری ہے۔

By the grace of Allah, Field Marshal Asim Munir has won two wars in the span of one year. A victorious commander against India, and a triumphant diplomat with utmost patience and forbearance on the peace front — victorious on both fronts. May Allah keep this streak of victories going.

The way Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif played his role with sincerity, wisdom, and diplomatic acumen in both the war with India and the Iran-US reconciliation will be remembered in history. This is the result of dedication and sincerity.

Insha'Allah, this leadership will also emerge victorious on the economic front and in the war against terrorism.

Will be leaving for Baku tomorrow Insha’Allah on a three day state visit to participate in the World Urban Forum.

It will be a singular honour to present Punjab’s flagship sustainable urban affordable housing initiative, “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar,” at the Pakistan Pavilion at the World Urban Forum in Baku.

Alhamdulillah, out of 160,000 houses under construction, 100,000 have been completed with families moving into their own new homes in less than a year Alhamdulillah.

The Pakistan Pavilion will showcase a case study, Punjab’s people centric model of inclusive urban development, affordable housing, and sustainable communities for low-income families.

During the visit, I will also have the honour of meeting the President of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and partnerships in urban development, climate resilience, tourism, and investment.

Received a warm call from Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom, this evening.

Appreciate his support for Pakistan’s sincere diplomatic efforts that helped facilitate the Iran–U.S. ceasefire and advance dialogue. I also welcome the joint statement by key European and international leaders, including PM Starmer, endorsing our peace initiatives.

We agreed on the importance of sustaining the ceasefire to create the conditions for lasting peace and stability in the region.

Also discussed ways to further strengthen Pakistan–UK relations across all areas of mutual interest. I look forward to welcoming PM Starmer to Pakistan.
