આંધ્રપ્રદેશના મદનપલ્લેમાં ગ્લોબલ હોર્ટિકલ્ચર હબના ઉદ્ઘાટન દરમિયાન રિલાયન્સ ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રીઝના એક્ઝિક્યુટિવ ડિરેક્ટર અનંત અંબાણીએ રાજ્ય માટે ₹1 લાખ કરોડના રોકાણની જાહેરાત કરી. આ રોકાણ કોમ્પ્રેસ્ડ બાયોગેસ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સમાં કરવામાં આવશે. અનંત અંબાણીએ કહ્યું, ‘મને આંધ્રપ્રદેશનો પુત્ર માનો અને મને કહો કે હું રાજ્ય માટે શું કરી શકું.’ પ્રોજેક્ટથી ખેડૂતોની આવક વધારવા અને યુવાનો માટે રોજગારીની તકો ઊભી કરવાનો ઉદ્દેશ છે.

Your SIM can stop working in Ladakh… while you’re still in India.

One of my friends recently went to Leh-Ladakh, and I was asking him about everything because I’m planning my next trip there by flight.

Then he told me:

“After reaching Ladakh, your regular SIM will stop working. You’ll have to buy a new SIM there.”

I was genuinely confused.
I’m still in the same country.

Same operator.
Same phone.
Same India.

So why would my current SIM suddenly stop working?

My friend actually had to buy a new SIM after reaching Ladakh.

Why does this happen in Ladakh, and what’s the actual process for getting a SIM there?

મુંબઈના ચેમ્બૂરમાં 'દિલ્હી સે' નામના રેસ્ટરૉના માલિક જસપાલ સિંહ ખાલસા અને તેમના ભાઈ મહિંદર સિંહ ખાલસાની કિસ્મત બોલિવૂડ અભિનેત્રી અનુષ્કા શર્મા અને ક્રિકેટર વિરાટ કોહલીના એક ઓર્ડરથી રાતોરાત બદલાઈ ગઈ છે. વર્ષ 2021માં શરૂ થયેલું આ નાનું રેસ્ટરૉ સપ્ટેમ્બર 2022 સુધીમાં ભારે ખોટમાં ચાલી રહ્યું હતું અને બંને ભાઈઓ પર આશરે 18 લાખ રૂપિયાનું દેવું થઈ ગયું હતું, જેથી તેઓ આ વ્યવસાય બંધ કરવાનું વિચારી રહ્યા હતા.

આ દરમિયાન સ્ટેન્ડ-અપ કોમેડિયન અબિષેક ઉપમન્યુએ તેમના રેસ્ટરૉના છોલે ભટૂરે ખાધા પછી સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર તેની પ્રશંસા કરી હતી. આ પોસ્ટ જોઈને અનુષ્કા શર્માએ પોતાના પતિ વિરાટ કોહલી માટે ત્યાંથી બે પ્લેટ છોલે ભટૂરે ઓર્ડર કર્યા હતા. શરૂઆતમાં માલિકોને આ એક ફેક કૉલ લાગ્યો હતો, પરંતુ જ્યારે ખરેખર ઓર્ડર ડિલિવર થયો અને બાદમાં અનુષ્કા શર્માએ ઈન્સ્ટાગ્રામ પર સ્ટોરી શેર કરીને તેના વખાણ કર્યા, ત્યારે લોકોની ભારે ભીડ આ રેસ્ટોરન્ટ પર ઉમટી પડી હતી.

અનુષ્કાની આ સોશિયલ મીડિયા પોસ્ટે બંને ભાઈઓની કિસ્મત ફેરવી નાંખી અને તેમનું વેચાણ 200 ગણું વધી ગયું. જે બિઝનેસ બંધ થવાના આરે હતો અને મહિને માંડ 1થી 1.5 લાખ રૂપિયા કમાતો હતો, તે આજે વધીને મહિને આશરે 2 કરોડ રૂપિયાના ટર્નઓવર સુધી પહોંચી ગયો છે. આજે તેમની પાસે મુંબઈમાં 4 આઉટલેટ્સ છે અને તેઓ દરરોજ 3,000થી વધુ પ્લેટ છોલે-ભટૂરેનું વેચાણ કરે છે.
