๐จ Senegal captain Kalidou Koulibaly speaking facts:
"Africans canโt have their people" at the World Cup because of US travel bans.
Every other team gets their fans. But Global South teams like Senegal get blocked while the West lectures everyone about "inclusion" and "human rights".
This is the same empire that bombs, exploits, and restricts โ then cries when others resist.
Football should unite people, not separate them with racist visa policies and double standards.
Stand with Koulibaly. Stand with the fans. Stand with the Global South.
No bows. Just raw truth. ๐ช๐ฟ๐ธ๐ณ
Alvin Mak, is a designer from the Democratic Republic of Congo whose works has gone viral after the arrival of the DRC players to the 2026 Fifa World Cup, in Houston wearing the classy outfits he designed. The collection includes leopard-embellished suits and leopard bags.
Despite spending time in Belgium and later France under quarantine and medical screening measures to ensure they had not contracted Ebola, not a single DR Congo supporter traveling from Kinshasa was granted a U.S. visa for the World Cup. Among them was Michel Nkuka Mboladinga, better known as โLumumba,โ an iconic Leopards supporter who became one of the most recognizable faces of AFCON 2025.
Since the start of this tournament, we have been witnessing clear bias against African countries embedded in visa and immigration systems.
President Bola Tinubu has approved $500 million cash to transform the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos into a major, world-class aviation hub.
๐จ WORLD CUP SCANDAL: US SLAMS DOOR ON AFRICA'S TOP REFEREE
Somalia's Omar Abdulkadir Artan โ first Somali ever selected for the FIFA World Cup, CAF Referee of the Year โ arrived in the US with a diplomatic passport and approved visa.
US authorities denied him entry at the airport and sent him back to Turkey. No reason given.
This is the "global game" hosted by America: merit means nothing if your passport comes from the wrong country.
FIFA silent. Africa watching.
Where is the fairness they preach?
South Africa has launched a formal challenge against a fresh U.S. tariff proposal to shield its major export industries from additional pressure.
Washington recently slapped a 30% tariff on South African goods and is now considering an extra 12.5% duty, citing alleged forced labour issues.
Pretoria rejects the claims, pointing to its strong domestic laws prohibiting forced labour and demanding concrete evidence from the United States.
Rather than responding with counter-measures, South Africa is pursuing diplomatic channels to settle the matter and preserve important trade relations between the two countries.
Dr. Muhammad Mashali, lovingly known across Egypt as โThe Doctor of the Poor,โ never owned a car or a cellphone. He lived without luxury, but spent over 50 years quietly healing thousands of lives.
Every day, he walked the streets of Tanta in Egyptโs Nile Delta to his modest clinic, where patients, rich or poor, were always welcome. Many paid nothing. Some days he treated 40 to 50 people, often covering the cost of their medicine himself.
After graduating with honors in 1967, he made a solemn vow: he would never turn away anyone who couldnโt afford treatment, a promise inspired by watching his father sacrifice everything for his education.
โMy reward is not money,โ he once said, โitโs the smile of someone whose suffering has ended.โ
When a wealthy businessman once gifted him $20,000, a car, and an apartment, Dr. Mashali sold it all and used every penny to buy medical equipment for his patients.
He treated everyone with equal dignity, regardless of religion, status, or background. For more than ten hours a day, he offered not just medicine, but compassion and hope.
Dr. Muhammad Mashali passed away in 2020 at the age of 76, leaving behind no wealth, no grand possessions, only a profound legacy of kindness.
Well there is no lie about it and this is for a fact, after the fall of Libya many weapons found their way to the Sahel region and also Nigeria.
Like my Oga @alouibrahim92 used to say, Nigeria must not tackle issues of insecurity in isolation, we need Niger, Chad, Cameroon and even Libya to ensure we get our security right.

Gold has overtaken U.S.๐บ๐ธ Treasuries as the preferred reserve asset for global central banks, now making up 27% of reserves.
African gold-producing nations like Ghana๐ฌ๐ญ, South Africa๐ฟ๐ฆ, Mali๐ฒ๐ฑ, Burkina Faso๐ง๐ซ, and Tanzania๐น๐ฟ stand to benefit significantly from this trend.
The surge in gold prices and demand could boost government revenues, export earnings, and investment in mining projects across Africa.
African governments are increasingly purchasing domestically mined gold for reserves to strengthen monetary stability and reduce reliance on foreign currencies.
She Held Citizenship and Passports from Nine (9) Different Countries.
โWhen the apartheid government officially revoked her South African citizenship and banned her records in 1960, they attempted to render her a stateless person without a home or a voice. The international community responded with a stunning act of solidarity. To ensure she could travel the world freely as an ambassador of liberation, nine different countries, including Guinea, Algeria, Ghana, Belgium, and Cuba, granted her honorary citizenship. She traveled internationally carrying multiple diplomatic passports, effectively operating as a citizen of the world.

Mike Tyson in Egypt: โWhen Black Africa Unites, the World Will Shakeโ
The legendary boxer Mike Tyson is making waves again โ this time not in the boxing ring, but on the African continent. He recently visited Egypt, where he took a moment to reflect on the rich, often overlooked history and immense potential of Black Africa.
While touring ancient landmarks, Tyson shared his thoughts:
โI went to Egypt to connect with our history as Africans, and one thing I realized is โ the day Black Africa truly understands itself and comes together as one, the world will tremble.โ
His powerful statement is already igniting discussions across the diaspora, with many seeing it as a crucial call for unity, identity, and shared progress.
Experts suggest that Tysonโs message is incredibly relevant right now, as the African continent is increasingly advocating for economic independence, regional collaboration, and Pan-African unity.
