The Yoruba people are smart, or so they thought.

The Yoruba occupied the vice president seat for 8 years, and from there they took the number one sit. Today, they are supporting everything. All the atrocities they condemned using Yoruba media in 2015, they are defending today. They championed protest against Jonathan. Even Professor Wole Soyinka joined in the protest.

They presented Jonathan as corrupt, and seriously condemned corruption. Today, their own is in power, and 90% of Yoruba people are supporting the same corruption they condemned under Jonathan. Even when Tinubu is more corrupt than Jonathan, they support him.

Yoruba will quickly do a Uturn should table turn. They will start criticising corruption again. They know that Igbo, Ijaw, Efik, Ibibio etc will always condemn evil, so the Yoruba will queue in.

They will even start shouting Oduduwa Republic. They will create someone you didn't know before who will start championing Oduduwa Republic just like they created Igbogho. Some Biafrans will support him and help popularize him simply because they are desperate to leave Nigeria and have a Biafra Republic.

All that was a game. They truly don't want Oduduwa republic. It was a diversion to get to the top again.
