@PaqWilly Like someone here said, we try to copy other artists, we “fail” as our copies somewhat deviate from the original.
The style is the accumulation of these deviations over time.

@Aweztube I think you’re right, but if people had higher standards, wouldn’t that mean that the ai stuff wouldn’t look like it does right now?
Maybe actual artists will be a fringe/specialist occupation, like stonemasons and such are nowadays, Once in a while you’d still need their skill.

@doomspoons Imo it’s important to recognize what parts of your methods are teachable and what are biases that are more specific to you, you wanna be as plain as possible when teaching.
Think of it like a English teacher with a heavy accent,he’d unwittingly Impart it to his students
