Never—ever—ever—ever think, as a pastor, that it’s just a Wednesday night or just a Sunday morning.
“It’s our people.”
“They already know this.”
That thinking is a trap.
You don’t know who’s visiting.
You don’t know who decided this service is their one last look at God.
You don’t know which teenager just had their faith rattled by something a high-school teacher said that week.
So walk into every service with intent.
Assume persuasion is required.
Assume clarity matters.
Assume eternity is in the room.
Preach in a way that convinces from the Word of God, and by the power of the Holy Spirit of the reality of the Bible and the living truth of Jesus Christ.
Thank you, @JDShuttlesworth, @DoingTheJayce, and @evangelistkofia, for believing in me and correcting me. I have by no means 'made it,' but in a sense, I have—I am right where God wants me to be. Thank you for inspiring me and for teaching me how to do just that.

I was scrolling through some old notes on my phone and I found this note on what I felt in my spirit to do after Bible College. It was my second year, five months until graduation, and I still hadn’t booked a single meeting, yet somehow, I felt this in my spirit. (1/5)
This is what the perfect will of God has for you. Regardless of how it may seem in the moment, no matter what situation you are going through, hold on to the Word of the Lord, and I guarantee that you WILL NOT FAIL. TODAY IS YOUR DAY OF VICTORY IN JESUS' NAME!
