We’re having a biodiversity debate in grade six. I popped into a breakout room to listen to some team prep.
All the team bonding, community building, class fam loving I was worried we were missing out on this year….was there.

Today we raise the #Pride flag, alongside the Canadian flag, in support of #PrideMonth. We also raise the flag to act as a visual reminder that our school environments, physically and distantly, are safe spaces for everyone that connects with our schools and staff. 🏳️‍🌈 #WRDSBpride

We are deeply saddened by the tragic hate-motivated attack that took place in London, ON this weekend. We stand together in grieving this tragedy with the Muslim community and send our condolences to all those who are impacted. #Islamophobia and hate have no place in our society.

S1 stayed behind in a meet to make sure S2 felt ok about being the only Habs fan in class. Said they wanted to make sure S2 knew its ok to cheer for any team.
We cheer the loudest for our teams (classes) but I don’t think they need much encouragement. They lift each other up. ❤️
