@googlenest Ultimately, this never needed to be complicated. I didn't need to spend upwards of six hours of my life on this defective camera. It should've taken ten minutes to solve the problem today--not 135.
@googlenest It made no sense. It was a very simple fix, and the error was on Nest's part... I am furious at how inept the service reps were every time. I wasn't allowed to keep the upgraded camera, nor was a credit for the inconvenience issued. Nothing. Now I wait again. I'm very displeased.
@googlenest ...the wrong camera, apparently. Today I spent over two hours trying to get someone to either send me the wires and instructions to install the Outdoor IQ camera they'd sent, or a new regular outdoor one. Two hours. Three reps.
@googlenest Thanks for the reply. I have a Nest Outdoor camera. Two weeks ago I was unable to switch to new wifi network and it took multiple chat boxes and hours of repeating myself for someone to decide the camera was defective and they'd send a replacement. Then they sent...
@googlenest, I have had almost 90 minutes of my time wasted with your completely incompetent customer service reps--for a simple problem with a simple solution. I am furious. DO BETTER.
Just told a guy selling masks, gloves, hand sanitizer on the street for $10 a pop to donate his stock to a hospital because there’s a shortage. He said, and I quote: “That sucks, but blame China!”
We are so fucked.
I then said, “Actually, China has been sending US supplies. The shortage is because of people hoarding. You need to donate this stuff. This is serious.” He told me he paid for the stuff and I needed to get his money back for him or fuck off.
Extremely important content (that isn't about how the GOP deliberately lied to us so four of them could get even richer by stealing our money and will never be held criminally liable for it because they are above the law): https://t.co/VYnocGIGY4
I hear the ice cream truck song coming from down the block and I want to lean out my window and scream “READ THE ROOM!” but then someone will make a mash-up of that with opera singers in Italy leaning out their windows and probably I’ll just keep sitting here watching TV instead.
Celebrities: What can we do to help regular folks who just realized they may have no way to earn a living for months on end and can’t even get tested for COVID?
Gal Gadot: Let’s record ourselves singing a John Lennon song standing in front of our mansions!
Celebs: PERFECT!!!!!
How is no one stopping 45 from repeatedly calling it “the Chinese virus?” Not a single person on his team will say something??
I want to scream. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE??????
Next up from my crash course in hanging in your apartment for long periods with no human interaction is a series we’ll call “Yes, this counts as a meal.” Our first featured meal is pictured here. Pro tip: the utensil you choose really affects the overall experience!
ICYMI, 45 is tweeting about orgies and meth busts right now. Also has callled for a day of prayer tomorrow. You know, in case you were wondering if things were looking up.
