FACTS about @Kibet_bull's abduction & release by Ruto's secret police:

After kidnapping him & the other 4 in late December, state agents were shocked by public reaction - with condemnation going international.

The goal was most likely to kill them all, but with the case being referred to the ICC (Where Ruto's file is still open, from his 2007/8 crimes against humanity), they had no choice but to start planning how to release them, and also claim they were never in police custody.

Short of it?

They FLIPPED Kibet (involuntarily) - while he was in their secret jail.

He was their main target, due to his very popular unflattering silhouettes of Ruto.

PROOF:

1. The regime was encountering a lot of heat due to these latest abductions.

Then the person causing them all these problems - Kibet - supposedly 'appears' in Luanda, Vihiga county, where he meets a lot of people.

And not a single policeman, or any other govt official showed any interest in him - yet the whole country was talking about him missing, after being abducted by state agents.

He even boards public vehicles & travels to another town - still, the regime 'is not concerned about him'?

If you believe that wasn't staged, how do you cross the road without assistance?

2. The latest tweets from his verified #X account, which he admits to have posted, appear to give the impression that 'wherever he was', he was having a 'good time'.

He has even tweeted that he NEVER cried during those days he was missing (attached tweet).

Considering that his disappearance is a police case - complete with a police file - if the police were not holding him, why have they not bothered to interview him?

SUMMARY:

Panicky Ruto regime apparently FLIPPED Kibet while he was in their custody & want to use him to spread the LIE that they are not the ones kidnapping critics of the regime.

It is very likely that Kibet is still fearing for his life - hence reason he has agreed to have secret police use his X account to spread their propaganda.

Eventually, the truth will come out.

It would be best if human rights organisations arrange for him to be given political asylum in another country - for his own safety & also so he can have confidence to tell the truth about his abduction.

Hopefully, Kibet's family & friends will advice him to keep off social media for a few weeks, to prevent rogue security agents from using him to mock other victims of their terror.

Meanwhile, pressure must be upped for the regime to release the other hundreds of abducted innocent citizens.

And if - God forbid - they have been murdered, the regime must let their families have the bodies for decent burial.
