Wow just hit me this is my last sem and week at UOW unless I fail #MARK322.

#bcm325 one user commented on #alitabattleangel "The craftsmanship is nice. But the filmmakers forgot one crucial element: making the audience care. And the characters and look of the movie are extremely unappealing."-which I kind of understand even half way through
Morning #bcm325 I’m going to be posting a lot while I catch up on Robot and Frank from 2012. I have never heard of this movie before, but I know it’s a science fiction comedy-drama film directed by Jake Schreier. So let’s get started. #robotandfrank#livetweeting
"where the future is not a dystopic nightmare... or otherwise unbelievable peek into a not-too-distant hellworld. It's future that seems real and just around the corner one where we have to figure out not just what our technology will do to us, but what it will mean to us."
In week 7's lecture we looked at AI: prediction and revolutions, specifically focusing on Makridakis's papers written 22 years apart. They reflect on the digital and information revolutions and how they inform society and the predictions made #bcm325
The robot would be classified as strong AI with a theory of mind, which is when machines can actually think and perform tasks on its own just like a human being and can understand people’s emotion, belief, thoughts, expectations and be able to interact socially. #robotandfrank
#BCM325 Wade Watts has an avatar in the virtual world. Is this concept such a far reach? Most of us have avatars is some sort within the cyberspace. Just take Bitmojis for example
‘remembering the future’ in Arrival is interesting. Time is supposedly linear, so there is no way for us to have a memory of something that hasn’t happened yet. The closest way we can remember the future is imagine possible consequences of future events. #bcm325
im genuinely enjoying #readyplayerone, and seems many others did too. It was a success in the box office (particularly in china) which is interesting #bcm325
