I don’t know how to feel. I don’t like AES. Among leftists, I only like Mamdani he’s very easy to like. AES is kind of gratuitously hostile. I don’t think Mamdani has ever said anyone remotely personal about Chuck Schumer or Gillbrand even after they called him a jihadist. AES is also short tempered. Let’s see how it goes.

I thought I was warming upto leftists bc of how bad establishment was but then I watch Cori or Hong or AES and and realize I just only really like Mamdani on a personal level and leftists still mostly are bad. Leftist issue with Weiner has more to do with him sponsoring some bill in CA legislature that would censor pro-Palestinian activists and codify into law as antisemitism some criticism of Israel. I don’t think he’s changed his mind on that but he had been pretty hostile recently so it’s kind of hard to believe the change of heart
