I don't want anyone to be optimistic, nor pessimistic, nor a """realist.""" I just want us to empathize with the public and find a way to show them why we're right. And criticizing other states and cities, even rural ones, is not the fucking way to do it.
NGL I love Colorado. I hate the shit that goes on here but I know the rest of the world is shit too so knowing that Colorado can work on itself makes me feel better. Knowing that Jared Polis is actually kind of based on housing makes me want to stay to make Colorado great.

I just want people to shut up and actually work on making their states and homes a better fucking place. I'm trying to do that by going to college and being a transportation planner, and although I could easily be more involved, I have a hard time because of my mental health.
I'm thinking about RTD Flexride, and how weird and low-used it is. It is often already booked, though mostly because it has so few vehicles available at any given time. I think if it had more vehicles, more people would use it.
MARTA Reach seems interesting...
@jhwkco @alanthefisher Okay. Then private developers are shit and the government should take over development of this stuff before we all die due to climate change.
/srs btw
People will sue over this.
It will go to the Supreme Court.
We already know their opinion on this, they stated it in the Dobbs decision.
Tell me more about how the left is overreacting.
@jhwkco @GreatDenTransit @alebikexson @hahnn12 @rhet0r @CPRNews True, grade separation WOULD allow for automatic train control... but the driver shortage isn't a long term issue - it's a critical short/medium term one. It's still imperative to find some other solution to the crisis - I'd suggest legalizing weed federally.
@rhet0r @GreatDenTransit @alebikexson @hahnn12 @CPRNews Construction, thankfully in this case, will take time. So that's time to somehow figure out a way to FINALLY hire more drivers.
I would argue that's the ONLY way for transit to get better besides what are QOL improvements.
@GreatDenTransit @alebikexson @hahnn12 @rhet0r @CPRNews Improving frequencies by fixing the single tracking issue is a MUCH better strategy than increasing capacity at platforms. Tracking upgrades might be more expensive, but they're more worth it.
