@infodw22@Polymarket@crumbl My grievance is things offered on a menu or in an appealing “one serving looking” container that have unjustifiable amounts of crap to where the consumer is naive to the ridiculous amount they are intaking.
@infodw22@Polymarket@crumbl Exactly and specific vapes have needed to be banned outright (e.g. flavored vapes which targeted teens) because solely advertising and marketing regulation did not have a big enough effect
@infodw22@Polymarket@crumbl 2) these dirty sodas are sold in less than a liter drink containers so not even close to a 1:1 comparison. Not a lot of kids are going to grocery store and buying a 2L Coke bottle to consume in one sitting
@infodw22@Polymarket@crumbl 1) banning the marketing would need to overturn Crumbl’s pink branding and “kid-appealing” logos and store design (just like cigarettes did with putting lung cancer pictures on cigarette boxes) for it to actually have an effect
@infodw22@Polymarket@crumbl Because 1) its marketed to kids and young adults who know no better and 2) it’s in a drink form which can be ingested much easier and quicker than a bag of sugar
Two years ago Dusty came to the frats and told us he was turning around our 8-24 dumpster fire of a program. Two years later and Dusty has brought us to the mountain top
