@chibbqk1ng Went to New River Gorge a few months before it became a national park. Gorgeous area. Did not eat well in WV but Fayetteville was the southern and western end of my WV trip (drove from DC) and, assuming you'd take I-64 there, I think you'll do a lot better.

Jimmy Chew is still available. Can now confirm he does very well on road trips, at campgrounds, and on hiking trails. I'm not convinced he appreciates art, but he's good at holding a pose when he's too tired to run away.
