The thing for me is i watch films for what they are right, but its also important how they're conveyed its just not abt slaping & stuff, the character (kabir singh) behavior was not backed up by a strong motive what so ever bc its a story at the end of the day right, i remember -
There are people who defend Kabir singh as a film too just stay the f**k away from me weirdos . Itβs not about acting or album itβs about the plot that glorifies that guy . Itβs about the director talking so casually about slapping people . Accept the wrong not a big deal.
Watching it & waiting for the part they gonna show us where he himself being beaten up by his parents or any traumatic experience he had experienced in the past which at least would've gave the audience an apprehension for the over the top aggressiveness, that never happened.
