this seems overhyped... +/-/×/÷ are immediate from properties of log/exp. then, x^y=exp(x logy), which gives you sqrt(x). sin and cos come from Euler, which also tells you ln(-1)=i*pi, from which you can extract pi by squaring and then taking sqrt, and hence you can recover i.
everyone calling this not profound, or not even novel - quoting zero practical power - or worse, too obvious -
- you don't appreciate beauty.
- mathematics was never about your practicality - and yet, watch this beautiful result butterfly effect into so many results.
- elegant
We crossed 10 million duels on Matiks
crazy to think our first 1M took 8 months…
the next 9M showed up in the last 6
In this time:
• team grew from 3 to 18
• 3 office moves
• got copied by bigger companies and ppl starting up
• got acquisition offers twice
saying yes would've been easy
but Matiks was never built for shortcuts
This is just the start
Matiks on every phone is the goal
@TheVixhal how do you explain them behaving differently when and when not interacted with? given your interpretation that interaction simply causes a revelation.
