@guitarted1961 Can confirm that the bottom two tiers of counties would be an easy place to hide. Plenty of hills, wood areas, and deer. Not many people.
@thegsfc I recall seeing the same thing happen on the Challenge Almanzo gravel tires many years ago. People just accepted it like it was no big deal. I still don't understand it. I have some similar feelings about the Rene Herse tires.
@OneEyedz I get where you are coming from. I know kids have energy, but letting them run around in some enviroments isn't good. Burn off their energy in a park first and then get a beer and some food somewhere
@sexandtheswiss Start looking at forecasts for higher elevations or see if there is a place that has forecasts for hikers or climbers. Weather at altitude can change quickly, as you've discovered. Ran into this a lot riding in the mountains racing Tour Divide
