you can see it, can't you? this is your fate. your friends will turn on you, seeing you for the monster you will become. they will destroy you, harbinger of chaos.
⠀
❲ like a deer in headlightsˎ so so small. so lithe and fragile. when closeˎ the doctor’s hand wraps around a forearmˎ and he pushes in near ❳
⠀ My dearˎ are you lost ?
⠀
people have such romantic notions. the pretty poetry about things never experienced, owners of soft skin fantasizing about what callouses might feel like. they're adults with the ignorance of children, and i want to make them suffer for it. i want to make them feel my pain.
i have become so fluent in violence i forget that humanity's first language is love. when we're cradled to our mother's breast and held for the first time, it is not the blood of death that bathes us. distantly i wonder how human that makes me, forgetting.
i know i'm not worthy of you, but i just can’t help loving you. it’s like wanting to touch a star you know you’ll never reach it, but you just keep trying.
⠀
❲ white puffs obscure the stars above from clear viewˎ and the old man squints through his glasses to have a closer look. it’s almost poetic how he sacrifices beauty for temporary pleasure. ❳
⠀ Is it ever anyone else .ᐣ You could never hide from me.
⠀
a * familiar scent makes the sixth blink、head tilted as indigo drifts from the stars to the doctor ( . . . ) frown disappearing as it does so、too used at being found by the other. a common occurrence by now.
❛ it's you * again. ❜
⠀
❲ only the faint shift among brush and the scent of tobacco smoke announce the heretic’s arrivalˎ draped in his coat. no place of rest is beyond a yearning reach. ❳
⠀
⠀
⠀ I deserve you the most. I deserve more of you than anyone else. I’ve seenˎ I’ve touched far more. Ohˎ cara miaˎ the strummer of my heartstringsˎ my dearest dancing doll. You will neverˎ everˎ ever be free of me.
