@svjoonX @ginamilan_ They may not have seen the judge yet but to get the SSN they have to do the paperwork. They work with immigration lawyers to apply for the employment authorization. The court date for the asylum is set for later. You can never apply for green card application in conjunction.

@svjoonX @ginamilan_ The SSN is not automatic. You may claim asylum but after that you need to do the paperwork and application for Employment Authorization. Only after it is accepted you are given an SSN. This is not an automatic process.

@mysteriouskat @QueenOfHeartsSF I grew up in Turkey late sixties, early seventies. I had trucks, dolls, water guns, lego type stuff, etc. I especially loved my toy cars. I was a pretty active child, climbing the trees, playing games outside that were pretty gender neutral.
