@phroololo @MaimaiBaby12705 the source code still has some notch's spaghetti from 2010 and 2011, that's why they're rewriting the systems drop by drop. also, entities don't lag the game if they dont do anything each tick and they dont take that much memory if they store little nbt data

@CG12_Locks @MaimaiBaby12705 entities ≠ block entities. block entities are attached to a block state to store data etc. chests, furnaces, barrels. their names are kinda misleading because they have nothing in common with entities
