@n5zbz At non traffic control intersections yes, but in this instance no. She would not have had the walk signal to cross traffic on your green. She failed to abide by the lighted signal, and did not have the right of way.
Hello all, it's been a while since I've been active here, or on social media much at all.
Looking for a new position in security leadership, was RIF'ed at my last org at the end of Feb, and job hunting these days is brutal!
If you know of anything, would love to know!
@WarriorBBall5@tikibriefcase@natlawyerchic Where it could get fuzzy is if the clinic rented space in a building, and the building employed the guard independently. The guard may not be part of a signed BAA at that point and definitely not a Covered Entity.
@WarriorBBall5@tikibriefcase@natlawyerchic If the clinic was to maintain their HIPAA compliance status, that role would require a contracted guard firm to be under business associate agreement, and trained on privacy/security issues with regards to HIPAA. Direct employee same thing, but no BAA required as Covered Entity
