🇿🇼 Zimbabwe rugby international Godfrey Muzanargwo has achieved a major milestone off the field after graduating with a degree in Sports, Recreation and Exercise Science from the University of the Western Cape.
The versatile back-row forward, who currently plays for Valke, balanced four years of academic study alongside the demands of professional rugby to earn the qualification.
Muzanargwo, a former captain of Prince Edward School, has built a reputation as one of Zimbabwe’s most dependable forwards. He recently featured in the Zimbabwe national rugby union team setup during their Rugby World Cup qualification campaign.
His studies focused on sports performance, athlete development, and injury prevention - areas he is expected to pursue beyond his playing career. Known for his leadership, he famously led Prince Edward School to an unbeaten season in 2017.
The achievement highlights his preparation for life after rugby, even as he remains active at the top level of the game.
