We are days out from relaunching Expeditions. You may run expeditions while on mission but you will not be able to change your gear if your locked into a mission, so perhaps now is a good time to start equipping your Souls for battle!

it‘s Analytics Monday! 📈
After our 5 day Expedition Launch event, it’s time to crunch the numbers and see if we are onto something players like.
ONLY if we are, can we go onto the next phase of Evrloot and onboard the next 100k players.
If you live under a rock -> Expeditions is a new game mechanic within Evrloot, where you explore dungeons and fight monsters. Our push into a more real time and casual gamer focused direction!
So what numbers are important to us and what are we looking for to determine the success of Expeditions?
It‘s important to preface here that we are still in closed Beta. While we have over 900 Holders of our NFTs, only 160 hold at least one of our exclusive genesis characters that act as the main entry ticket into our game. These were also the only ones that could play expeditions.
Why is that important? Because we are not looking for absolute numbers (don‘t worry, you will get some at the end). We care more about relative numbers: How high was the engagement rate of our current holders, how good was the retention rate over the 5 days, and how much time was invested on average? If we nail those numbers and eventually open the gates to the public, success is inevitable.
Okay, so what are the KPIs we are looking for?
1. Engagement Rate -> of our current holders, how many were we able to get to start at least one loop of Expeditions?
2. Retention Rate -> how many players returned each day to play AGAIN? Ultimately telling us how much they enjoyed themselves. Retention is king
3. Social Media Engagement -> You can build the greatest game ever, if nobody is going to see it, you might as well not build it
4. Community Feedback -> not so much a KPI but deeply important to us and our future
————————————
#1 ENGAGEMENT RATE
The problem with many Web3 games is that they manage to generate a really big hype event once or twice, where they attract thousands of players with e.g. a Play2Airdrop campaign, but never see any of those players ever after.
While there are super epic NFT rewards up for grabs, the incentives of playing Expeditions are rather low. If we still manage to get a substantial amount of holders to try it out, we did a good job and our community is alive!
Souls participated: 259
Unique wallets: 74
-> This is great news! We not only reached almost 50% of our holders, but we also got them to play a round of Expeditions! Without promising any token ;)
We all know how hard it can be to keep track of all the projects you are involved with, it certainly is for us. So we are hyped about this number! The crazy part? This number will only go up with us iterating and improving! Our community is alive!
—————————————
#2 RETENTION RATE
It is kind of difficult to draw any real conclusions out of this since the event only went for 4 1/2 days total. So what we can mostly look at is D1 - D3 retention. But thats a start, right?
We have a staggering D1 and D2 retention of ~70%, D3 really isnt off by far with 64%. Since we launched late on a Sunday and the event only made it 4 1/2 days, the D4 retention has to be taken with a grain of salt. Realistically we could have been closer to 50% or even higher there!
Now those are numbers that really excite us! Players enjoyed what they saw and experienced and decided to come back day after day.
It looks like we delivered something our players enjoyed. This is a clear sign for us to iterate on it, improve on those numbers and start testing with bigger player groups to get more reliable data!
—————————————
#3 SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT
We are still 100% organic, no $ spent on KOLs, shady crypto telegram groups or ads (can you imagine what happens once we do? 🚀), so we are super pumped about the numbers we are about to show you.
Our main teaser video for Expeditions gathered an impressive 68k views alone, wow! The QTs from @MoonbeamNetwork and @Polkadot certainly helped there!
We had alot of new people get funneled into our Discord and ask how to get started playing Evrloot. Our Waitinglist is growing every day!

#4 COMMUNITY FEEDBACK
Crypto has enough people claiming they released the next big thing. In many cases its more about a story than a good product. Evrloot is different. We care about user feedback, every step along the way. And we pride ourselves, that this first version was perceived VERY well.
Let's listen to some actual player feedback in- and outside of our core community.
mooky: "Can't believe how fleshed out Expeditions already is. Congratulations to the team, it's scary to think how big this world could become"
Bowser Staxx: "Guys, Bravo. Incredible Job. I'm hooked already"
Feyd: "Great work team, thanks a lot"
@NFG_Ryan "I’m loving the expeditions. (...) This team just keeps building and building."
@tumispro "Evrloot is rapidly shaping up to a professional grade game ❤️"
@SFY_Labs "Love your work guys❤️"
@krypto_kay "Expeditions add a whole new layer to the game. Great job
Evrloot team. Keep on shipping 🙌"
@Paulevenden5 "Absolutely Amazing what the evrloot team has achieved with this RPG. So addictive and I’m sure there is lots more to come. Thsnks team evrloot"
@gidon_w "I really enjoyed my first runs"
There is nothing that motivates us more than getting this type of feedback, it's the fuel that keeps us going. Thanks to anyone that let's us know what they think, may it be positive or negative, it's a major contribution to us growing!
