frame mogging in and of itself reveals the fundamental coordinates of contemporary capitalist subjectivity: you are not simply defeated by a superior physique. no, no, no. you must recognize your defeat. perform the ritual of humiliation, acknowledge that you have been "mogged." the pure surplus-enjoyment, the plus-de-jouir of the spectacle and so on and so forth but what we have here is even more fascinating. what we have here is the perfect case of what I call the "autocannibal subject" of late capitalism. the looksmaxer, an ontological edifice constructed on the basis of pseudo-scientific pornography of measurement and optimization, recessed suborbitals and upper maxillas and so on and so forth Clavicular is the Bolshevik functionary who knows all the theory, has turned revolutionary consciousness into a full-time job meeting a simple factory worker who embodies proletarian authenticity without ever having read a single word of Marx. the frat leader doesn't looksmax, he simply is. this is pure jouissance in its most traumatic form. this brute who probably drinks beer and eats pizza, who has never heard of canthal tilt is what Lacan calls the sinthome - the enjoyment the looksmaxer cannot integrate into his symbolic universe. so when the looksmaxer is frame-mogged, what dies is not merely his self-image, but the entire libidinal infrastructure of his subjectivity. he confrontscthe abyss: "what am I beyond my looks?" and the answer that echoes back is....nothing. pure void. and at the same time... pure ideology.
@marouane53 do you still make your own notes afterward?
using AI as a fact checking tool is amazing , but my concern with AI in learning is retention, when information is as available, i find myself sometimes skipping the struggle that actually builds the synapse connections.
sharing this gem i found in an exposition, kinda wishing that the artist behind it views it a proof of how deep she can feel and not the catalyst of disorders/pain that resulted from it
@Ghitz01 how can we be naturally good or evil when he proves that those terms were indeed invented that they didnt exist before, but the problem was offering a solution to the upcoming meaning crisis that would follow, if we reject both those notions,we´d have to figure out our own morals
@Ghitz01 he did answer it tho by proposing the will to power, he just dissected morals as a social construct and traced it´s origin to prove that there was indeed a great replacement of values somewhere along when zoroastrism came to be
@BiggyYTTTV @KEEMSTAR gotta give him credit for this, takes balls to say this on the spotlight and not anonymously on reddit, but eh inb4 someone twists his narratives and the main message he's trying to convey
