I love eating. I love looking and feeling like a woman. I love having a BMI in the 20s. I love nourishing my body and feeling Venusian. Anorexia nervosa is not a beauty trend, it is a serious illness, but the sudden aestheticization of underweight bodies is. And as the fallout from things like the Jeffrey Epstein scandal demands mature feminine wisdom — women thinking clearly, using our discernment and our voices — the aestheticization of bodies associated with arrested development and a disorder that literally shrinks the brain should worry us. Frailty is not femininity.
@sk1nnybey0tch It takes a couple of weeks of getting used to, but you will feel more present in your mind if that makes sense. My meds give me a sense of normalcy and ability to function. I hope it's a positive for you as well 🫶
@sk1nnybey0tch I was for a long time. It helps with focus, but when the meds wear off you will feel it. It also caused my anxiety to worsen, and made me feel off when it wore off. Also you will forget to eat or drink on it, which sucks.
@decayinglili This sounds like it's fueled by her own self-hatred. She likely still feels the shame and hurt from her ed and now she's projecting those feelings onto those who haven't "recovered"
This is the biggest labor fight that nobody is talking about — it involves more than 250,000 workers and impacts every block of every city and suburb in America.
