Important points here.
1. Ateneo players were the ones who faced the rescue team with the resort staff.
2. The MDRRMO was called 30 MINUTES after the incident.
3. The MDRRMO was told that there was only one missing player—Divine. The description they were given was that the missing player is a Nigerian.
4. When Rene’s body was found first, that was when someone said na meron pang isang nawawala.
5. Rene’s body was transported via an Ambulance. Divine’s was through a police vehicle.
6. The hospital was 10-15 minutes away. Contrary to what the staff has told Rene’s mom na 30-45 minutes away.
7. There were no weights nor any signs of bruising. Malinis ang katawan.
8. The bodies of Rene and Divine were found 40-50 meters from the shore, but from opposite sides of where they were last seen.
9. A teammate attempted to give Rene CPR on the shore, but MDRRMO quickly asked them to pause so Rene could be rushed immediately to the hospital. CPR was continued inside the ambulance.
NOT AN ACCIDENT, but if you're seeing this on June 11th, the winning era begins for you. Relationships. Health. Wealth. Everythiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing gets better from here. You're so lucky.
Kids, when someone ask you to define “Conflict of Interest” show them this video. It’s a perfect example.

BATERBONIA'S MOM TO ATENEO PLAYERS: 'MAYAMAN KAMI SA RESPETO'
Rovelyn Baterbonia, the mother of the late Ateneo Blue Eagles player Rene Clert Baterbonia, broke down in tears as she addressed her son's teammates during their visit to his wake.
She recalled how Rene once promised to bring home a UAAP MVP award—and, one day, even a PBA MVP trophy.
"Pag ako makarating sa UAAP, bibigyan talaga kita ng UAAP MVP o kung mapagbigyan na siya, PBA MVP. Kasi 'yan ang pangarap natin," Rovelyn said, recalling her son's words.
Rovelyn also reminded the players about the value of respect, a principle she said their family has always upheld.
"Mahirap kami pero malaki ang respeto. Mayaman man o mahirap, may yaman kami sa respeto. Kaya sana maintindihan niyo 'yung respeto na sinasabi ko," she said.
