According to the agency Wake One on the 8th, ZEROBASEONE will officially release the physical version of their sixth mini album, “Ascend-,” in the United States on the 26th (local time). While pre-orders for signed copies, LPs, and photobook versions are currently being actively conducted through their official online store, the album will also be prominently stocked in major mainstream offline retailers in the U.S., including Target, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart.
This U.S. physical release carries strategic significance beyond a simple export of CDs. In the music industry, ZEROBASEONE’s securing of distribution channels with large U.S. retailers such as Target and Walmart is being interpreted as a move aimed squarely at entering the Billboard 200, Billboard’s main album chart.
