The rising number of street-connected children presents urgent social and rights-based concerns. In a strategic dialogue with @zerostreet617. Led by Commissioner Caroline, we explored inclusive and sustained interventions to safeguard their dignity, safety, and well-being.
This Labour Day, let’s not forget street families. They work too; recycling, cleaning, surviving day by day. They deserve fair wages, dignity & opportunity like everyone else. Empowerment starts with recognition💪.

Today, at Langata, we laid to rest two members of our street families—lives lost to the cold, rain, and hunger😥. This is not just a tragedy; it is a reflection of a system that fails the most vulnerable among us. Every human being deserves dignity, warmth, food, and shelter.
Our Uji Breakfast Program is ongoing—every Saturday/Sunday we serve warm porridge to our Street families. A small act of love, a big impact. You can support us with even 1kg of porridge flour or sugar. Let’s keep them warm, fed, and seen.
