And of course our dummies were average white male bodies but I can easily imagine giving CPR to someone with breasts or a larger size would feel wildly different and I would genuinely feel a little more unsure which is hella fucked up

First aid in general is all built around the av white male. I recently got my certificate and my partner was Latina and has darker skin, so things like checking skin colour for circulation wasnt nearly as obvious as in the photos (and on myself) with white skin
The times I’ve done CPR on real women, it felt completely different because all our training mannequins basically have male chests.but the moment you say healthcare is built around the Caucasian male body, people start yelling “agenda” like it’s not a documented issue. Be serious
