Personal update: I’ve left @paid_ai to join @arrakistech as a founding Forward Deployed Engineer. We’re out of stealth with $38M.
@RafaelFQL sold me in one call. Industrial AI deployment is one of the most important problems and I want to get it right.
Let’s get to it.
Arrakis Technologies (@arrakistech) comes out of stealth with $38M in funding from leading investors including @blossomcap and @Accel.
Sovereign AI deployment in the physical economy is one of the most important missions anyone could work on. Western reshoring and economic prosperity rest in the balance.
That's why we're building Arrakis.
We are an AI deployment company that partners with ambitious enterprises to transform their operations into software. We encode operational know-how into agents that execute complex processes semi-autonomously and learn under human supervision.
Six months in, here's where we are:
1. Partnered with the most mission-driven team I could have asked for. My co-founders Haroun Beltaifa, @Romain_Fd and @MichaelGalkov, and a founding team from Palantir, Revolut, ElevenLabs, Datadog, DeliveryHero, ASML, KKR and Blackstone. We are now forward deployed at the edge across the US, Europe and APAC, encoding and redesigning industrial processes from first principles.
2. Signed NYSE-listed customers after our agents delivered significant P&L improvements through 60-90% cycle time compression at 99%+ accuracy on complex workflows. These companies now experience the future of self-driving industrial operations, where work no longer waits for constant input but moves forward proactively with humans overseeing every critical decision. In weeks, their most skeptical operators became our most vocal champions, and direct CEO referrals are now our main source of growth.
3. Raised $38M from @blossomcap, @Accel, @Global_Founders, @mainobjectvc, and leading angels including @oliviergodement, Head of Business Products @OpenAI, Junaid Hussain, founder @Cambridge_Aero, @oliveur, founder @datadoghq and more.

Found this cleaning out old files.
Did math competitions more for the trips and friends. This was the first time I saw "Jane Street" on a shirt and thought the name was funny lol.
Sometimes I wonder about the version of me who took it seriously. No conclusion. We keep going.
Riding the Cursor generational fumble wave like a true veteran
Certified professional fumbler:
• Missed Lovable recruiter in early 2025 (already made a post about it)
• Anthropic reject after HM round
• OpenAI ghosted after technical
On to the next one
Everyone’s out here sharing their generational fumbles with @cursor_ai
Got this interview invite from @Lovable
in early 2025 and it went straight to spam 😭
(not sure if it qualifies as generational but it still hurts)
